Warning! Avoid skin contact with the oil.
Preparatory work
Cleaning the transmission
Ignition off.
Carefully wash the transmission.
Removal
Removing the oil return pipe
Remove the oil return pipe from the oil cooler and the transmission.
Hint: The quick-release connectors for the oil line are detached by pressing the connection housing for the oil line towards the cover/oil cooler. Hold the
connection housing in this position. Pull back the lugs on the connection housing. Pull the connector off the cover / oil cooler.
Removing the splash guard
Remove the splash guard under the engine.
Place a container underneath the transmission.
Note! Leave the container in place for the next few procedures relating to removal.
