Customers may complain about the performance of the flat blade windshield wipers.
Improved wiper blades have been introduced in production and are now also available as a replacement wiper blade kit for earlier cars.
VEHICLES AFFECTED
Cars after the break points have the improved wiper blades installed from the factory.
SERVICE:
For cars within the affected chassis number range and with a verified customer complaint matching the above description, service the car by replacing
the windshield wiper blades with the new wiper blade kit - PN 30699635.
The windshield must be clean. Wax (applied in many car washes) can build up and cause the wiper blades to judder. A greasy layer or wax build-up can
be removed with 3M(TM) Perfect-It(TM) III Cleaner Clay, 3M Part Number 38070 or similar product.
If judder still occurs after cleaning the windscreen and replacing the wiper blades, replace the driver's side wiper arm with a modified version - PN
30699609.
