Installing the oil cooler

Install the oil cooler to the oil pan. Use new O-rings and tighten the screws.

Installing the A/C compressor

Install:

-

the air conditioning compressor. Tighten the screws
Caution! Make sure the belts are properly seated in the grooves.

-

the inner and outer accessory drive belt. Use: 999 7109 Wrench See: Tools and Equipment/999 7109 Wrench 

Installing power steering pipe

Install:

-

the oil pressure pipe to the servo pump, do not tighten
Caution! Remove the seals.

-

the return line for the servo reservoir

-

the screws for the bracket with the servo pipe in the engine and tighten

-

the bracket in the accessory drive belt bracket and tighten the screws. Tighten the pressure line in the servo pump.

Installing components

Install:

-

the right fender liner

-

the right-hand front wheel. See: Wheels See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Wheels/Service and Repair 

-

the splashguard under the engine. Lower the vehicle.

Finishing

Filling with engine oil

Install:

-

the oil dipstick pipe. Use a new O-ring
