Variable Valve Timing Solenoid: Removal and Replacement

Removal

Removing the variable valve timing solenoid

Remove:

-

the screws for the upper timing cover

-

the upper timing cover. Disconnect the connector for the variable valve timing solenoid

-

the screw for the variable valve timing solenoid

-

the variable valve timing solenoid by pulling it straight up.

Installing
