Caution! Make sure that all vacuum hose locks are intact and properly fastened.

Hint: Lubricate the mounting hooks on the air cleaner (ACL) module using petroleum jelly or similar.

Hook the cable harness into the air cleaner module before it is inserted in its mountings.

Install:

-

the air cleaner module by turning the module down, pulling it toward the right front wing and inserting it in its mountings by pressing it straight
down.

-

the mass air flow sensor hose (2); tighten the hose clamp

-

the intake pipe (1) to the air cleaner module. Plug in the mass air flow sensor connector. Connect the two connectors for the engine control module
(ECM), lock with the two red striker plates

-

the protective cover over the engine control module (ECM)

-

the brake vacuum hoses.
