Remove fuse F2 for the power steering pump.

Pull up the red cable under the fuse post [1], and cut it behind the cable terminal. Isolate cut cable by wrapping with plastic tape, and press it
down into the fuse holder.

Remove the ground cable for the power steering pump (the larger 4 sq2 cable, behind hood strut in this photo [2]) and cut the cable terminal.
Isolate cut cable by wrapping with plastic tape.
