Checking connector
Spray universal oil in the connector and blow
clean with compressed air.

Caution! Make sure that the terminals are
not bent or damaged.

If no defects are detected during the
function check, and no corrosive damage is
found in the connector, continue to step 5.
If defects are detected during the function
check or if there is any corrosive damage in
the connector, the whole cable harness in
the door and the connector in the a-pillar
must be replaced. Then continue to step 9.

Greasing connector
If the connector is OK:
Install a piece of hose (approx. 5 cm long)
on the tube of low temperature grease as
shown in the illustration.
