Remove the fuel tank for USA models. See: Fuel tank See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.
Removal
Removing the level sensor on the left-hand side
Release the 2 catches. Remove the plastic nut. Use: 999 7112 Wrench See: Tools and Equipment/999 7112 Wrench.
Caution! When removing the plastic nut ensure that the level sensor is not turned with it.
