Fuel Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Pressure sensor, fuel rail (FRP)

Preparatory work

Draining the fuel system

Remove:

-

the screws for the upper timing cover

-

the upper timing cover.

Drain the fuel system. See:  Fuel system pressure release See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair/Fuel
System Pressure Release.

Removal

Removing the fuel pressure sensor

Caution! Place paper on top of the generator.

Disconnect the connector for the sensor.

Remove:

-

the screw for the fuel pressure sensor

-

the sensor.

Installation
