DESCRIPTION:
A new spare part has been introduced regarding the hydraulic unit for vehicles with Dynamic Stability Traction Control (DSTC). The new hydraulic unit
(see Photo 1 in the attachment) does not include the Brake Control Module (BCM). As shown in the attachment the new unit includes only a pump motor
and valve housing fitted together.
The updated service procedure will be included in VIDA 2010C.
SERVICE:
To remove and re-install the hydraulic unit PN 36001319 follow the procedure for replacement of Anti-lock Brake System Module (ABS) in VIDA:

When replacing the hydraulic unit on vehicle with DSTC (using the new PN 36001319) no software download is needed.
The labor operation code for replacing the BCM is used since the procedure and labor time for replacing the new hydraulic unit (PN 36001319) is the
same as for replacing the BCM.
