Remove:

-

wiper / washer switch with the screws (1), x 2

-

the turn signal lamp switch with the screws (2), x 2.

CAUTION:  The pins on the wiper and turn signal lamp switch are fragile. Carefully pull straight out.

Remove:

-

the 2 screws (1)

-

the contact reel / steering wheel module (SWM) by releasing the catch (2) on the top.

Pull the contact reel / steering wheel module (SWM) back slightly.

Disconnect the connectors, x 2.

Installation:

Installing the contact reel/Steering wheel module (SWM)

Install the contact reel/Steering wheel module (SWM).

NOTE:  Check carefully that the catch engages in the top of the contact reel / steering wheel module (SWM).

Install the upper mounting using the 2 x M5 screws. Tighten. See: Summary of tightening torques for specific components.
