Release the connector from its position on the inside of the panel

Press the movement sensor into place in the cover. Ensure that all the catches engage

Connect the connector for the movement sensor

Reinstall the cover and the movement sensor in the headlining

-

Program the function using VCT2000 in VIDA.

Remove the cargo compartment carpet.

Removing the sill trim panel from the tailgate:

-

Pry off the four external clips at the front edge/bottom edge of the sill trim panel on the tailgate

Pry up one of the corners of the sill trim panel so that the two clips at that end release. Use a weatherstrip tool

-

Pull up the sill trim panel so the remaining six clips release. Remove the panel

-

Detach the rubber strip where it covers the right-hand side panel in the boot opening.

Removing the rear headlining:

-

Grasp the edges of the rear headlining. Pull downwards so that the nine clips release. Pry using a weatherstrip tool if necessary.

Note! Do not damage the panels.
