Occupant Weight Sensor (OWS) Spare Part for DTC SRS-0115

DESCRIPTION:
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) SRS-0115 may occur in the vehicle models listed in the header. Replacement of the Occupant Weight Sensor (OWS)
may be required to solve this concern if no harness or connector fault can be found.
SERVICE:
If DTC SRS-0115 occurs, check the wire harness between the Belt Tension Sensor (BTS, located in the seat belt end fitting) and the Occupant Weight
Sensor (OWS) for short and open circuits. Also check the connector integrity.
If no harness or connector fault can be found, replace the Occupant Weight Sensor (OWS) according to the instructions in VIDA, see below, and TNN
88-44. Do not replace the Belt Tension Sensor (BTS).

Note:
For vehicles with seat heating, install a new heating pad along with the OWS spare part kit. This is required in order to maintain a proper mechanical
interface in the seat.
