Preparatory work

Disconnecting the battery lead

Disconnect the battery negative cable. See: See: Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting

Removal

Removing pulley

Remove the generator (GEN). See: Generator See: Service and Repair.

Remove the belt pulley from the rotor shaft, use tool: 999 7113 Spanner See: Tools and Equipment/999 7113 Spanner  and 999 5761 Socket  See: Tools
and Equipment/999 5761 Socket  as shown.

Installation

Installing pulley

Screw on the belt pulley and tighten it, use tool: 999 7113 Spanner See: Tools and Equipment/999 7113 Spanner  and 999 5761 Socket  See: Tools and
Equipment/999 5761 Socket. Tighten, see: Tightening torque See: Specifications.
Install the generator (GEN). See: Generator See: Service and Repair.
