Front Door Limiter: Service and Repair

Door stop front side door

Removal

Removing the front door stop

Remove:

-

the door panel as described in  Panel front door See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Front Door 

-

the speaker as described in  Loudspeaker, side door front See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact
Disc/Speaker/Service and Repair/Loudspeaker, Side Door Front 

-

the 1 screw (1) from the A-post.

-

the 2 nuts (2) from the front edge of the door.

Pull out the door stop through the loudspeaker hole.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see  Tightening torque See: Specifications 

Installing the front door stop

Install:

-

the door stop

-

2 M6 nuts

-

the M8 screw.

-

the speaker as described in  Loudspeaker, side door front See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Radio, Stereo, and Compact
Disc/Speaker/Service and Repair/Loudspeaker, Side Door Front
