Customers may complain that the handbrake release button cannot be pushed in enough in order to release the handbrake lock mechanism.
SERVICE:
Inspection
If either of these inspections reveals a fault, make an adjustment.
Inspection 1:
If the push button on the handbrake lever
moves freely, without any resistance at all or
the distance from the button to the lever (A) 5
mm (0.20") or less, make an adjustment
according to the Adjustment section.
