Removal
Remove the center console according to
VIDA:

Removal, replacement, and installation
Brakes
Parking brake
Brake control

Adjustment
Slide the seat forward and angle the backrest
to facilitate access to the lever for adjustment.

Detach the locking tab for adjustment from the
lever.

Note! It should be possible to release the
adjustment nut with ease (with fingers).

To reduce freeplay in the push button, turn the
nut upwards as illustrated.
Adjust the adjustment nut as illustrated until
the lever can be returned to the bottom
position from at least the 4th notch.

Note! Lift the lever 5 mm (0.20") before
pushing the button in.

The button should now be 5 mm (0.20") (A) or
more from the lever; see the image in the
Inspection section.
To avoid any risk of teeth disengagement,
keep 0.5 mm (0.02") to 1 mm (0.04")
freeplay in the push button!
