V50 T5 AWD L5-2.5L Turbo VIN 67 B5254T7 (2008)
Remove:
-
the brackets on both sides of the climate control unit and the screws, 3 per bracket

the 8 x screws for the cover.
Pull the cover at angle downwards/backwards. See illustration.
Place some paper below the pipe couplings to collect any spilled coolant.
Remove the clips holding the pipes. See the illustration.
Note! Note how the clips are installed.
Press the pipes towards the cowl panel so that they protrude into the engine compartment.
Hint: Also pull the pipes in from the engine compartment. This will make it easier.
Plug the pipes for the heat exchanger so that the coolant cannot run out.
Angle the heat exchanger up at the rear edge and lift out towards the passenger side.
Note! Note how the seal is located on the heat exchanger.
