Oil Pan: Service and Repair

Preparatory work
Removing components
Remove:
-
the screws for the intake manifold between the air cleaner module and front panel
-
the intake manifold
-
the screw for the dipstick pipe
-
the dipstick pipe. Raise the vehicle

the right-hand front wheel
-
the right-hand fender apron panel. Remove the screws at the front edge, 6, and the plastic nut. Bend the fender apron panel back.
Removal
Removing components from under the engine
Remove:
-
the splashguard under the engine.
Note! Clear up any oil spillage using paper.

the screws for the oil cooling system. Hang the oil cooling system in an appropriate way using a cable tie or similar. Remove the oil plug. Drain
the engine oil.
Only applies to turbocharged vehicles
Remove the charge air pipe under the engine.
