The Integrated Audio Module (IAM) has a ground input. The ground input from the control module is connected via a ground cable to the ground
terminal in the body. For further information on ground terminals, see the relevant wiring diagram.

Ground input 1 (#A8) is power ground and connected to the ground connection in the body.
Checking the ground terminal
Check the ground cable between Integrated Audio Module (IAM) terminal (#A8) and the ground terminal. Check for an open-circuit. Check for loose
connections. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. With the ignition on, the drop in voltage between the ground connection for the Integrated
Audio Module (IAM) and the ground terminal must not be greater than 0.5 V.
Remedy as necessary.

Checking the voltage / ground terminal
Power supply multimedia module (MMM)
Multimedia module (MMM) is supplied with voltage via a voltage input on the control module.
When the ignition is on, the power input is powered and the multimedia module (MMM) is in active mode.

Voltage input 1 (#21 (#A1)) is supplied with voltage via a relay connected on the Central electronic module (CEM). The relay is powered via a
fuse from the battery. The relay coil can be diagnosed by the central electronic module (CEM). The multimedia module (MMM) will not be
activated if there is an open-circuit.
Checking the power supply
Check the power supply cable from the battery to the relay on the Central electronic module (CEM) and from the relay to the Multimedia module
