Detach the towbar wiring connector from the Trailer Module (TRM).

Detach all cables from the connector and pull the cables out through the rubber grommet. The number of cables may vary depending on the towbar
wiring used.

Remove the rubber grommet. It will not be used again.

Cut off the top of the large rubber nipple on the new grommet and route the cable harness for the tow hitch through.
Hint: Lubricate the cable harness with something that will not damage the rubber grommet and route the cable harness through the hole.
