Preparatory work
Remove the wheel.
Removing the steering arm
Loosen the inner steering joint's lock nut.
Loosen the outer steering joint's nut so that the upper edge is above the screw.
Press off the steering joint. Use tool: 951 2945 Puller See: Tools and Equipment/951 2945 Puller.
Note! Be careful when using tools: 951 2945 Puller See: Tools and Equipment/951 2945 Puller. so that the steering joint's rubber gaiter is not
damaged.
Remove the steering joint.
Note! Count the number of turns when removing the steering joint.
Installing the steering arm
Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. See: Specifications
Install:

new lock nut
-
the steering arm.
Turn the same number of turns as when removing.
