Preparatory work

Method contents

This method consists of two different methods:

front right side, replacing

replacing 

Removing the drive shaft

Remove the drive shaft according to: Drive shaft right See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Drive Shaft Right.

Drive shaft seal ring, front right side, replacing

Removing the seal ring

Detach the seal ring from the crown wheel shaft.
Use a screwdriver/jimmy bar.

Installing the seal ring

Install the new drive shaft seal ring.
