Remove:
-
the battery negative lead.
-
the air cleaner (ACL) assembly.
Removing the B+ cable

Remove the B+ cable (1) from the battery positive lead. Remove the protective sheath (3) from the cable between the battery and the cable duct (2).
Remove the fuse box from the bracket on the spring strut turret.
Remove:
-
the nut holding the cable duct at the spring strut turret.
-
the tie straps for the wiring in the cable duct. Release the B+ cable.
Removing the B+ cable in the fuse box.

Remove the B+ cable in the fuse box.
