Wire Harness / Hoses / Pipes, Replacing

Removal

Preparations

-

Remove the heater.

-

Remove the fan shroud.

Wiring harness, replacement

-

Disconnect all the connectors and the sensor.

-

Cut the tie strap.

-

Replace the wiring harness.

Replacing the hoses and pipes

-

Release the quick-release connectors.

-

Remove the hose clamps.

-

Replace the hose / pipe.

NOTE:  Use Oetiker pincers 3374 to slacken off and secure the Oetiker clamps.

Installation

Bleeding the fuel system

-

Connect the fuel line to vacuum pump 998 5876. Suck carefully until fuel comes out. Connect the cables and hoses.
