Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Replacing the camshaft position sensor (CMP)
Removing the position sensor
Remove
-
the engine stabilizer brace between the suspension turrets
-
the cable clamp on the engine stabilizer brace
Disconnect the pipe between the air cleaner (ACL) and the turbocharger at its upper end.
-
the hoses from the hose bracket (at the left front of the engine)
-
the hose bracket (at the left front of the engine)
Disconnect the connector.
Disconnect the wiring from the hooks on the bracket on the cylinder block (left front).
-
the sensor.
