Install

the wheel spindle on the trailing arm

a new nut on the ball joint. Tighten to 80 Nm. Use a Torx wrench as a counterhold so that the boot is not damaged.
Note: Make sure that the mating surfaces on the ball joint and link are clean.
Installing the sealing ring

Note: Check that the sealing ring is not worn or damaged. Replace if necessary. Ensure that the sealing ring is correctly positioned on the drive
shaft.
Clean the splines on the drive shaft.
Turn in the wheel spindle and locate the drive shaft in the hub.
Install drive shaft screw and finger-tighten. Lubricate the screw.
