Detachable tow hitch

Note! 

Kit contents:

1. Cross member
2. Screw M14 x 80 (2x)
3. Nut M14 (x2)
4. Upper bracket (x2)
5. Lower bracket (x2)
6. Sleeve (x4)
7. Screw M12 x 50 (2x)
8. Screw M12 x 130 (4x)
9. Reinforcement panel with sleeves (2X)
10. Protective cover assembly
11. Strap
12. Protective bag
13. Decal
14. Detachable tow hitch
15. Blind rivet (10x)
16. Washer (2X)
17. Rubber tab (4x).

Type approval of the tow hitch is in the table on the second page.

Note! A new lining mat is required for cars manufactured up to week 13, 2000. The lining mats are ordered separately for these cars (P/N
8625515).

Note! It is recommended that the operations for certain points are carried out by two people.

Turn the ignition key to position 0. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.

Note! Wait at least five minutes before disassembling the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.

Connect the connector for the cable harness for the tow hitch according to the appropriate Installation Instructions.

Fold up and remove the floor hatch (1) and the storage compartment (2)

Remove the side panel (3).
