Pull the sides of the casing out. Detach the casing at the top. Then pull the casing straight back.

HINT:  This operation is easier with two people.

Remove the cable harness for the parking assistance sensors (if applicable).

Remove the sound proofing (1) and the 4 nuts.

HINT:  Use butyl tape to secure the nuts in the socket. Otherwise the nuts are easy to lose.

Disconnect the connector for the antenna.
