Half shaft seal rear final drive housing, replacing
Special tools: 999 5591, 999 5681
Note: Preparations before removing the drive shaft seals in the final drive housing. See Final drive, replacing.
Removing drive shafts
Use tool 999 5681. See illustration for instructions on how to use the tool on the left and right-hand sides.
Remove the sealing rings
Use a jimmy bar.
Check that no seal residue is left in the final drive housing.
Install the seals
