Vacuum Brake Booster Check Valve: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect vacuum hose from check valve.

2.

Pry out check valve using two screwdrivers, then remove seal.

3.

Install new seal, ensuring flange is properly aligned in cylinder.

4.

Lubricate seal with grease, then press valve carefully into place.

5.

Ensure seal does not move out of its position.

6.

Connect vacuum hose, ensure highest point is at attachment to valve.
