Oil pan, front edge screws
Background:
On some vehicles oil may drip form one or all of the three screws at the front edge of the oil pan. If oil drip is occuring at any of the mentioned screws,
the screws must be replaced with new screws with thread sealant, P/N 981684-4. This service bulletin describes how to install new screws with thread
sealant. New screws have been introduced in production from the chassis numbers listed here.
