Hint: 
To aid in removal of switch.

If car has been parked in ambient temperatures less then 5C (46F) degrees for more then 4 hours, bring the car inside the workshop 15 - 20 minutes with
doors opened allowing door panel and switch to warm up before starting the repair. Turn off interior light preventing the battery from discharging.
