Depress brake pedal and lock it in the depressed position with a pedal jack.

-

Press stop (brake) light switch housing forward towards the pedal mounting bracket to release the white locking sleeve.

-

Pull the white locking sleeve towards the tip of the stop (brake) light switch as far as it will go.

-

Push in stop (brake) light switch catches and remove switch.

-

Disconnect connector.

Check

Check the new stop (brake) light switch to ensure:
-

that the white locking sleeve is pulled out towards the tip of the stop (brake) light switch as far as it will go.

-

that the catches are not in contact with the white locking sleeve.

Installing

Note!

Brake pedal must be depressed.

-

Connect the connector.
