Perform test when the transmission is cold.
Move the gear selector from D to R 2-4 times, waiting at least 3 seconds in D for each D to R application. If engagement is very hard a new transmission
must be installed.
Note!
When repeating the D-R shift one must wait at least 3 sec in D-position to give the C2 clutch accumulator time to empty its chamber. This is
necessary to avoid an incorrect diagnose. A very quick movement, D-R-D-R normally gives hard R-engagement, even with a normal operating
transmission.
