Take the cable (1) for power supply from the kit. Connect the ground lead to the existing ground terminal behind the battery. Tighten the screw.
Tighten to 10 Nm (7 lbf.ft.). Position the red/white (R/W) single cables (2) by the rear fuse holder

Route the cable harness on the left-hand side of the cable duct. The cable with the blue connector (3) must be routed to the pre-routed connector
for the DIN cable

Roll up the excess cable. Clamp the excess cable.
Connection in the fuse holder
Applies to cars up to and including model year -2004 (V70 CH -458999, XC70 CH -172999)

Remove the fuse holder. Open the lock (1) on the top of the fuse holder. Fold the fusebox holder forward. Lift it out of the mountings (2).

Position the red/white (R/W) single cable with the smaller cable terminal facing backwards along the cable. Insulate the cable. Secure the cable
using the foam tape from the kit. It must not come into contact with the chassis.
