Pull off the weatherstrip.
Remove any tape residue.
Installation
NOTE:

The weatherstrip will not be reused.

Clean the surface for the weatherstrip using an appropriate cleaning agent. Then wipe dry using paper.
Install a new weatherstrip. Press it firmly into place along the entire surface.
Installation
Installing the rear bumper
NOTE: For tightening torques, see: Specifications.
Install:
-
the energy absorber (damper/foam) for the rear section.

the rail on the body. Use 4 x M8 nuts. Tighten.
HINT: Use butyl tape to secure the nuts in the socket. Otherwise the nuts are easy to lose.
Install:
-
the 4 x sound proofing sections in the cargo compartment.
-
the 4 connectors for the parking assistance sensors.
