Bend a heavy welding rod (wire).

Note! When installing the gear selector cable: Be extremely careful to ensure that there are no sharp bends or kinks in the gear selector cable,
especially between the inner cable and outer sleeve.

Hint: Route the gear selector cable correctly in the engine compartment with someone to assist you.
