Engine Mount: Service and Repair

Special Tools:

Jack tool No. 998 5972, or equivalent

Procedures

NOTE:  Refer to the following for mount replacement:

Front Engine Mount (Manual): refer to steps 1 through 5

Front Engine Mount (Automatic): refer to steps 6 through 9

Right Engine Mount: refer to steps 10 through 11

Rear Engine Mount: refer to steps 12 through 15

Tightening Engine Mounts: refer to step 16

Front Engine Mount Replacement (Manual Transmission) 

1. Undo torque rod:

-

Remove torque rod bolt from engine.

-

Slacken torque rod bolt from body mount and push to one side.

2. Remove nut from engine mount.

3. Remove:

-

splashguard under engine

-

torque rod screw

-

engine mount screw
