Tires: Description and Operation

tire Pressures, Cold Tires 

1-3 People

Tire Sizes 205/55 R16 and 195/65 R15:

5-Door at 0-160 km/h (0-100 mph):

Front: 220 kPa (31.3 psi)
Rear: 230 kPa (32.7 psi)

5-Door at 160+ km/h (100+ mph):

Front: 260 kPa (37.0 psi)
Rear: 270 kPa (38.4 psi)

Full Load, And Trailer

Tire Sizes 205/55 R16 and 195/65 R15:

5-Door at 0-160 km/h (0-100 mph):

Front: 250 kPa (35.6 psi)
Rear: 280 kPa (39.8 psi)

5-Door at 160+ km/h (100+ mph):

Front: 280 kPa (39.8 psi)
Rear: 320 kPa (45.5 psi)

Note that the values apply to cold tires (outside temperature). Tires get hot after just a few kilometers drive and pressure increases. This is normal so
do not let out air if the pressure is checked with the tires warm. However, if pressure is too low increase it.

NOTE:  Low tire pressures can affect handling and increase tire wear.

CAUTION:  Wheel sizes must be the same on all wheels. A spare wheel of the "Temporary spare" type must only be used with T125/90 R15 size
wheels.
