Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Adjustments
SPECIAL TOOLS

Gauge tool No. 999 5475, or equivalent
PROCEDURE
1. Preparations
-
Make sure gear shift is set to position N.
-
Remove:
Battery
Battery shelf
Air intake manifold
Inspection And Adjustment
2. Adjustment
-
Remove:
Transmission cable from rod arm
Selector lever
-
Install gauge tool No.999 5475, or equivalent, on control shaft.
-
Check that shaft is set to position N.
-
The indentation on the tool should align with the marking on the gear position sensor.
