6. Reinstall connector on kickdown switch

Reinstall locking clip on cable tensioner

Make sure cable is positioned correctly in the engine compartment.

Firmly latch cable onto throttle control pulley

Insert a 3.5 mm (0.14 inch) spacer between the throttle pulley idle stop and the bracket stop.

Make sure locking clip is positioned firmly against bracket. 

Adjust cable until it is under light tension.

7. Remove spacer Remove locking clip and replace cable tensioner in bracket with locking clip

Reinstall cover

8. Checking DTCs

-

Using a suitable scan tool, check that DTCs have been cleared.
