Preparatory work
-
Remove the bevel gear.
Removing the sealing ring

Position the bevel gear on a workbench. Support the gear using a wooden block.

Use extractor 999 7086. Knock the seal towards the housing using the extractor sleeve.

Remove the seal using the impact driver handle of the extractor.
-
Check thoroughly that no seal residue remains.
