Thermostat: Testing and Inspection

THERMOSTAT, CHECKING 

1. Check opening function

Thermostat may be tested in hot water.

-

Max. opening should be reached in two minutes in water at opening temperature.

Marking 87

Starts opening at:  87° C (187° F)
Fully open at:  102° C (216° F)

Marking 90

Starts opening at:  90° C (194° F)
Fully open at:  105° C (221° F)
