Engine Mount: Service and Repair

SPECIAL TOOLS 

-

Lifting Beam tool No. 999 5006, or equivalent

-

Support Rails tool No. 999 5033, or equivalent

-

Hook tool No. 999 5115, or equivalent

-

Hook tool No. 999 5186, or equivalent

PROCEDURE 

Left-hand side: Steps 1 through 7
Right-hand side: Steps 8 through 14

LEFT-HAND SIDE 

1. Disconnect/remove:

-

battery ground lead

-

engine mounting top nut

2. Raise engine using left front lifting lug

-

Use lifting beam tool No. 999 5006, two support rails tool No. 999 5033 and lifting hook tool No. 999 5115, or equivalents.

-

Place 15 mm spacer between lifting yoke and hook.

3. Remove engine mounting bracket

-

Remove splashguard under engine.

-

Undo mounting nuts (two) and mounting bolt.

-

Withdraw mounting and bracket towards front, holding lower edge.
