Oil Pressure Sender: Description and Operation
The oil pressure sensor is located on the engine block and consists of a pressure gauge which closes a switch when the oil pressure inside the engine falls
below a specified minimum pressure in kPa. When the switch Is closed, a lead on the instrument panel is grounded and the warning light comes on.
