Removal

Drain the refrigerant from the AC-system. Refer to: Refrigerant, draining See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Refrigerant, Draining
Torque: M6, 10 Nm
Torque: M8, 24 Nm
Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Vacuum-pump the AC-system. Refer to: Vacuum pumping See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Vacuum Pumping
Fill the AC-system with refrigerant. Refer to: Refrigerant, filling See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Refrigerant, Filling
Check the AC-system for leaks with tracer/UV-light. Refer to: Leak detection, tracer agent See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Testing and
Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Leak Detection, Tracer Agent
Or with electronic leak detector. Refer to: Leak tracing, electronic leak tracer See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Testing and Inspection/Component
