Ignition off.

-

Disconnect cable to audio/telephone by loosening the lower connector on the cruise-control switch unit.

-

Ignition on.

Activate buttons and read status on cruise-control switch unit buttons.
If read-out gave a correct result the fault is in the cable between the audio/telephone switch unit and cruise-control switch unit.
