CSC = Customer Symptom Code

DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code

DESCRIPTION:

A customer may experience an engine speed dip while coasting down to a stop. Transmission Control Module (TCM) DTC P074468 may be set.

PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
At structure week 2010w41 (see chassis range above) Engine Control Module (ECM) software and TCM software have been improved in the following
areas:

- Lock-up release

- Restarting fuel feed (after fuel cut-off)

- Purge

- TCM DTC P074468 will not trigger limp-home.

SERVICE:

Perform an ECM Upgrade according to VIDA. An ECM Upgrade will automatically come with a TCM Upgrade when purchased and downloaded.

If the condition still exists after the software download assess the amount of fuel in the tank and how many miles are on the vehicle.

If this vehicle has more than 1/2 tank of fuel and the condition still exists erase any DTCs fill the tank and test drive for 10 miles.

If this a new vehicle from the port with little to no fuel and the condition still exists erase any DTCs add 10 gallons to the tank and test drive for 10 miles.
