Remove the four clips for the silencer's radiated heat shield.

Work the silencer down as far away from the side member as possible. Do not press the exhaust system too hard.

Remove the radiated heat shield.

Remove the last section of the cover on the insides of the side members. Measure from the middle of the embossing and backwards. Cut at that
point.
